Early Act First Knight

Respect and Responsibility
The first quarter Accolade Ceremony for EAFK 2014-15 was Thursday, November 5.  Students were awarded or knighted by Queen Suzanne.  Students were nominated by teachers and classmates.  The character traits for the nine weeks were Respect and Responsibility.Early Act First Knight is a character education program sponsored by the Kings Mountain Rotary Club.  East is the first school in North Carolina to participate.  The program encourages students to become service-oriented citizens who are responsible and have solid character. 

 The following students were honored or knighted:

Kindergarten:  Lillian Pullen, Brayden Hosey, Bentley Barnes, Dominic Paysour

First Grade: Elijah Perry, Layla Putnam, Greyson Miller, Alana Goode, Hunter Black, Abbey Smith

Second Grade:  Autumn Heffran, Dominc Davis, Alona Noblett, Karmen Rodgers, Laila Degree, Phylicia Eubanks

Third Grade:  K'Layjia Perry, Angelo Paysour, Kenneth Cruzan, Gabriella Bryant, Addie Wallace, Jason Rodgers

Fourth Grade:  Mason Weaver, Tony Latham, Curtis Hall, Chloe Hudson
